Ross is based in Agilent’s Spectroscopy Technology Innovation Centre (S.T.I.C.) in Melbourne, Australia. The STIC is Agilent’s global research and development centre for atomic and molecular spectroscopy.

Jeremy Patt
Chief Technology Officer, Summit Nanotech
Jeremy Patt is Chief Technology Officer at Summit Nanotech. The company, founded in 2018, is using its patented technology to extract lithium from brines at the lowest levelized cost of production and with the lowest environmental footprint. Jeremy has held numerous global leadership positions in the chemical industry – building and advancing research programs, pilot plants, and first-of-kind manufacturing plants for companies including Dow Chemical and Sherwin Williams. He has led the development and successful commercialization of processes across a broad range of technologies, including high-volume chemical production, catalysis, adsorption, extraction, membranes, filtration, heat exchange, drying, solids handling, and water treatment. Jeremy holds a BSE and PhD in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is an inventor on 18 U.S. patents.

Ana Gonzalez
Atomic Spectroscopy Application Scientist, Agilent Technologies
Ana is based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. With a robust background in atomic spectroscopy instruments, Ana boasts international experience in the development and validation of analytical methods tailored for the geochemical industry. Her expertise extends to lithium-ion battery technology, where she has made significant contributions to the comprehensive understanding of lithium brine characterization in South America, as well as the analysis of lithium battery components such as cathodes, anodes, and electrolytes. Ana's proficiency also encompasses molecular spectroscopy and chemometrics, as evidenced by her notable publications in these fields. She holds a Master of Science degree in Plant Biotechnology from CINVESTAV, México, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology Engineering. With her diverse skill set and passion for advancing scientific knowledge, Ana continues to drive innovation and excellence in her field.

Ruby Bradford
Atomic Spectroscopy Application Chemist, Agilent Technologies
Ruby is an application chemist at Agilent Technologies, having worked in the Atomic Spectroscopy Division since 2020. She works frequently on the analysis of fine chemicals using techniques such as inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) and is experienced in method development and sample preparation techniques in the advanced materials sector.
